Transport and Connectivity
Transport is a top priority for growing the economies of all the cities. It is also essential that we increase the effectiveness and efficiency of public transport networks in our major cities to combat climate change.
The Transport and Connectivity Group comprises transport and policy experts from across the Core Cities, and works with DfT, RDAs, PTEG, PTAs and PTEs to help influence and develop policy and thinking , particularly with Government, to ensure that transport strategy supports the continued economic growth of the Core Cities and the city regions.
