Creating successful places where people with choices want to live, work and spend time is important to existing communities and to creating competitive advantage for the future.
This work stream supports the Core Cities in successfully delivering sustainable communities by increasing understanding of the opportunities and needs of the Cities and city regions, securing increased support for investment programmes and removing barriers to progress. The Group works to reinforce and build on public and private sector confidence in the ability of the Cities to deliver, working toward increased devolution to the Cities and city regions.
