The Future of Cities, 8 and 9 Feb 2010
Core Cities are working as media partners with Chatham House to present the 2010 The Future of Cities 2-day international conference on the 8 and 9 February 2010 at Chatham House, London.
Core Cities Director Chris Murray will be speaking, and the conference generally will deal with the need of cities to address challenges such as energy and water supply, demographics, and climate change. Examples of issues raised will be;
- Can cities lead in meeting these challenges?
- What policy tools are needed?
- What new infrastructure and services will be essential? Can they be made sustainable? How will they be financed?
